The Campground at Gunstock Mountain Resort is now hiring for the 2024 summer season. We are looking for few helpful and friendly people to join the Camping Center team to assist with campground reservations, registration, and Camp Store retails sales. The position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong working knowledge of MS Office suite and point-of-sale operations. Hourly pay $15-16.00

Essential Duties:

• Assist Campground guests with online and phone reservations, check-in and check-out; maintain current working knowledge of all Gunstock products, services and amenities and identify opportunities to cross or up-sell other products or services to Campground guests.
• Process reservations and Camp Store retail transactions on computerized point-of-sale (POS) using proper cash handling and POS procedures.
• Maintain a welcoming, helpful, and professional experience for Campground guests and visitors; assist with the satisfactory resolution of guest service issues and work with supporting departments to coordinate assistance, as needed.

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older with high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license required

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 70% of the time; constantly operate a computer and other office equipment such as printers, fax machines, and phones. The employee is frequently required to move about the resort to access workstations, phones, and printers, including under desks.
