Grounds Maintenance Technician - Full-Time, Year-Round

Department: Grounds Maintenance
Location: Gilford, NH

Gunstock Mountain Resort in Gilford, NH is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Technician to join the Operations Team. The technician will work under the guidance of the Grounds Maintenance Manager on various repair and maintenance tasks to uphold the resort's facilities.

Responsibilities:
- Operate a range of machinery and equipment for maintaining the resort's base area and 140-acre Campground, including loader, backhoe, tractors, mowers, and skid steer.
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and renovations on all resort grounds such as campsites, lawn areas, roadways, bridges, walkways, parking lots, culverts, and utility markers.
- Assist in coordinating snow removal, landscaping, trash removal, and waste management tasks for a clean and appealing environment.
- Support in managing guest parking areas, ground transportation, and parking plans for efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Operations Team for general assistance in operational tasks, events, and projects.

Qualifications:
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment like excavators, loaders, tractors, and mowing equipment.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools for construction projects.
- Possession of a valid CDL-B preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Compliance with Gunstock Mountain Resort's Alcohol and Controlled Substances testing policy.

Requirements:
The role involves periods of stationary work, operating various maintenance tools and equipment, and moving around the resort. Physical capability to handle equipment, tools, and materials weighing up to 100lbs may be required.

Scheduling:
Full-time position requiring 40-48 hours per week. Weekend and holiday availability is necessary during peak operational periods.
